Hey everyone, ok so here is the deal, I really want to get more into racing atvs, but money is one thing that is not on my side right now, but I'd like to know how can I get more into this racing? How do I get some sponsors to help me out so I can do this, and what do I need for this motocross racing? I have been trying to do this for the last 3 years and I haven't been able to do much of this racing at all. So I'm wondering what can I do to do more racing instead of sitting around at home with a broken quad and no money. Even when I do get money, I can't do this on my own. I am one who wants to go to nationals someday and become a pro atv motoross racer, but money is not on my side like I said. Anyone who can help me out or let me know what I could do for this, would be very helpful.

you just have to save your $, put your head down and do it...
you will lose money... dont think your gonna get sponsors that will give you stuff, or pay you...
you just need to get out there and make yourself known. they start to apply for sponsorships

start making phone calls or emailing any company that makes/sells atv products. you wont get paid but you'll get free stuff here and there and discounts on purchases in return for you advertising their products in your pitt area or decals on your bike. good luck

Unfortunately, you are not likely to get any monetary support as such. You can get sponsors who will discount products to you in exchange for promoting their stuff. Discounts can range from 10-50% depending on the products.
If there is a quad shop nearby, you may get some real help with repairing and prepping your quad; but not totally free. You will pay at least cost for parts, so you still need to have your own money for your racing hobby.
Your racing experience, your personality, the race series you run, and the model of quad all play a part in getting a sponsor.
Some non-quad companies, like clothing, etc. may give you cash allowances for oil, tires, etc. These arrangements are totally up to you and your personality to find and develop.
Sponsors generally do not come to you. It takes a lot of footwork, emailing, and phone calls.
Having even a simple resume with nice pics, including your smiling face, is a big help.

Ok, so what are some companies I could call or e-mail? I already called a few yesterday and e-mailed a few and most said I need to get a resume and pictures of me and pics of my quad. Only problem with the resume part is I haven't really been able to get much racing experience, so I can't do much there until I get more experience at races I can go to like the district 23 or district 16.
