ok i put a yoshi pro series full system on my 06 wen i first got it. the past 6 months i keep gettin an exhaust leak wher the header bolts to the motor. ive changed the gasket countless times and aplied copper silicone sealant evry time i change it. i was told by sum riders that my exhaust is a w00terty exhaust and i should just get a new full system. i dnt kno what to do...should i just get a new exhaust (if so what kind), see if i can just get a new header, or does someone hav any tips on how to fix what i got?

first, look at youre header, and gasket.. if its leaking there should be a black streak where the gas is escaping, look on both sides of the gasket to make sure it isnt the motor either. if there is a streak on youre header, sand it down around (not on the black!!) to make it more level so there should be no more gas escaping, re-seal it with a new gasket and see if there still is a leak. repeat untill the leak is gone.

pipe may not be seating on head all the way try washers behind pipe or maybe even two gaskets

you should e-mail Yosi to see if they might replace your header or give you a discount on a new one.

Just to throw it out there, if you loose your exhaust pipe springs its best to get new ones, because running it without springs can cause exhaust leaks at the very back of your exhaust where its sealed. strokin.gif

make sure the header pipe bolts/nut are tight. Mine always come loose and when they do this it blows the gasket out.

It's probably the crappy flange that Yoshi has. They bend very easy.
