I'm curious where the more difficult hill climb north of Banshee hill is? I can consistantly climb the hill directly left of Banshee hill pretty easily and am looking for more of a challenge. I've looked (granted not very hard) for it, but haven't seen it. Is there a landmark I should keep an eye out for? Anyone have a picture of the enterance? Thanks in advance, guys.

Just follow the tree line and you will find a trail that heads right in you will go over a berm and into a tight trail. Best bet is to ride down it first. Stick to the far right at the top of Banshee and you will see it. I'm not sure how it is now but last fall it was a handfull. Much more difficult than the trail to the left of Banshee. Unless you have an extended swingarm it will be extremely difficult. I have a +4 and 22" 9 paddle haulers and run up in first playing with the throttle. It's about finese over there

yeah dude... the left trail has been ridiculously easy for a long time now... The left left trail is pretty easy now too. Just go to the left, or ride with me and I'll go up it with my feet over the bars for you.

Thanks for the directions, By right you mean north, correct? I'll be sure to ride down it first. I have a stock swinger, but I'm still gonna give it a go next time I'm there. That trail left of Banshee hill is becoming really easy, soon it will be completely eroded out like Banshee hill has become.

I was looking at that thread before I posted this topic, but the pictures are somewhat vague. That's why I started this, but thanks for the info.

stock swinger here too dude... its not hard. The top has really opened up since december (which was the only hard part then because it was so narrow). Just about every weekend someone will be out there doing it and the left trail. You really don't need to go down it, its not crazy. More turns and a little softer than the left trail, but not bad. FYI I could make it when i ran stock swinger and sandstars. Its not as hard as people make it out to be.

I finally got a chance to try this hill. I must say that it really isn't too difficult and I did not have to go down it first to scope it out. I did come to the quick conclusion that 22" tires are required to get to the top in the current conditions because the sand is so soft and rutted. Having an extended swingarm is definitly not required, increased ground clearance is the biggest advantage. I managed to get to the last pull (about 30 to 50 feet from the top) and would high center every try no matter how fast or slow I attempted it. My 20" tires and swingarm skid definitly ended up being the factors keeping me from making it and it really bummed me out! I went down there with the goal of making it up this hill and nothing that I could do would allow me to make it without purchasing new tires :( I accepted the fact and went on my way, but I will return with a vengence and hopefully some taller tires! :)
