Hi Guys!!

Last Saturday I finished the complete rebuild of my engine. I chose Venom based on the comments of many satisfied customers and I completely sure that I wasn´t wrong. The treatment was always great, when I had a doubt John or Tress resolve it as soon as they could. They always took care of my parts and they made me feel like the distance between us (7.000 kms) would´t exist.

The performance consists on:

- Head Ported
- Big bore kit (480) with 12.25:1 Venom CP piston
- Carb bored to 42 mm
- ESR modded intake
- Complete Venom Exhaust System

I installed everything... I pressed the start buttom and the engine started suddenly. It sounded amazing as it had never sound before, strong, the iddle was perfect.... I let warm it up, looked for leaks and then rode it. It's incredible the way it run, I had never ride anything like that. The response is faster than I could imaging, it pulls very very hard. It seems a Honda CR 500 two stroke!! icon_biggrin.gif

I've got just a question for Mixxer. As you know I race supermoto and the main tracks are made of tarmac, without dust. should I use the outer wear for the air filter?? Or only for rainy days or dirty tracks??

Thanks for all Mixxer and Tress. You've made me feel very very happy!! Thanks!!

I am not speaking for Venom, but IMO I would run it with the outerware. Anything gained by running with out the outerware is not worth what could get past the fabric filter medium with out the outerware in place.

By the way very nice quad and I love the way it is set up. icon_cool.gif

i'd be worried about it tipping over on me shocker.gif
Nice quad man, looks awesome
Joester
yeah, it does look pretty top heavy.
Terse
I don't think it looks top heavy at all. In fact it looks to me to be as low as my drag bike is to the ground and yet his is much much wider then my drag bike.

Thanks for your comments!!

I'll definitelly use the outerwear, is the best solution.

My YFZ is so low because supermoto in Spain is raced mainly in flat tracks of tarmac without jumps. Then, the only way of riding fast is low height and wider. The height of my YFZ is 6 cms. (with me on it) measured in the rear part of the frame, where the rear arm joins with the frame. The rear width is 135 cms. and the front width is 137 cms.

thanx so much for getting Venom overseas!

awesome looking ride BTW

definately use the outerware.... no power gain by removing it....and LOTS longer engine life with using it..!!
