My buddy was telling me about a oil mod he said the 04 05 and 06's didn't do good at putting oil onto the crank
so the cranks locked up on them didn't know if i should I get it done or does anyone know anything about this I have an 06 so didn't know?

its called the 07 oil squirter update. look up in the pinned section.

It was more of a problem with the wrist pin and bottom of the piston not getting enough oil. So before the '07 came out, there were companies that were drilling a whole in the case so that oil would be squirted up onto the bottom of the piston/wrist pin area to help prevent this. Some companies tapped the hole and even put a carburator jet in there, but some of them just had a hole. I sent mine to Kenz Cycle Tech, and they didn't put a jet in there.
