I'm glad you had good luck with the jetmoto's cause my sister bought one for my neice and it's the biggest piece of crap there is. She got the 125 and it has no power, my daugthers trx90's blow that thing away. If you look around you can get good deals on the 90's. I paid 1000 for my '05 and 1350 for the '03. I see them all the time on craigslist around me for around 800 and up. They are all the same until you get to '06 then they put e-start on them. Otherwise the only thing that changed was the plastics. I figured when my kids outgrow these I will be able to resell them for almost what I paid for them. Good luck on doing that with those jetmotos.
ya, maybe this cc is the better option. maybe the 125 is too heavy. the 110's seem to move pretty damn well. even with me on them.
i looked at 90's for months. i'm in CA and i couldn't find anything for less than $1200. and i couldn't afford two. even if they were $800 a piece i wouldn't have been able to do it. i still had to buy two kids worth of gear. i won't buy used helmets, especially for my kids.
i'm pretty happy so far.
i know that if i would have bought a Honda or Yami or any other name brand, i could easily have sold it when i was done for what i paid. the little ones hold their value very well. plus they can take a serious beating. but i had to look at my current budget. the only thing that really sucks is, if either one of them has a semi bad crash, the frame will be twisted to all hell. the materials on these bikes is junk.
but you get what you pay for.
i'm good with letting them wreck a $600 bike. then we'll start looking at bigger and better when they can handle it.
but!
if you can afford the name brand, i say get it.
i would have bought a TRX or Predator if i could have.
but i have no regrets.
