I have a 98mm 14.25 single ring piston. i ordered a new ring pack from you guys and it came with two rings and oilers. does venom make a two ring and single ring design? and on this single ring piston where do you prefer the ends of the rings placed? a picture would be good. i got the piston used and dont have any instructions just a piston. thanks

Is the single ring piston a Venom piston?

Not sure on the piston and ring question but as far as how to place the end gaps on the piston, just follow the directions in the manual for placement. I can't really see it being any different. Maybe I'm wrong, but my stock bore piston 12.25, I just put the rings how they were pictured in the manual, and it worked fine.

If you don't have a manual you should really think about investing in one.

exactly what i was looking for

the race gas pistons are 2-ringers

and the pump gas pistons are 3-ringers....

the ring kit is the same for both.... you just don't use the thick black \ 2nd ring on the race gas versions....
