So Venom has had my topend for a while now, I get everything back sometime this week I was confirmed. I got literally, EVERYTHING Venom has to offer and I am thrilled. I was told there is an extra special little treat in the package for me having to do with my throttle so I am excited to find out what it is exactly. I want to thank Venom and John for all the work they do day in and day out and only thing I would change next time if being a lot closer to the West Coast for them..lol. I would have loved to have been involved more in the process of things because I LOVE to learn about my bike.

I will post pics soon, so and so at KMS performance in Phoenix here is going to be putting it back together, trying different cams and Dyno Tuning my bike to supreme performance. I will post Dyno Sheets and I am open to smoking any of you kids at the dunes after its done... icon_cool.gif icon_cool.gif icon_cool.gif Cept for Terse..lol

You sure are confident for someone who doesn't have a pic of their setup posted.. lol, you got a secret the rest of us don't know about? icon_cool.gif Its all good, I am just around to have fun anyways..and go REALLY REALLY fast while doing it. I just needed the extra horses cause im such a big guy..lol. It really wasn't a challenge, it was more a way of insinuating id like to meet more peeps to ride with at the dunes!

What I would really like is to meet someone with a hauler here in Arizona so I don't have to do all the driving to the dunes anymore.. it KILLS my back! Plus I HATE driving with a passion, even if it is just to the store.

Wow, that sure is pretty! At least they picked a bad ass name.. VENOM.. whats cooler than that? Lots of companies use last names.. mine is Mcconnell, who the fu*k would want a "MCCONNELL" anything..lol My exhaust would have to be long as hell just to fit my name on it.. GAY!

Didnt R1 just part out his entire bike? Hmm, so most parts get here today, I gotta call the guy at KMS to set up for the dyno runs and build. I am w00ter*in STOKED! AND really f-in curious what Teresa put in as a "surprise"

also.... while kelly is a world class tuner\builder\turbocharging specialist.... his dyno is not an easy one to pull big numbers from...

everyone looking to get bragging numbers is terrified of hitting up his dyno....plenty of guys out there to talk smack...but i never see them hitting the KMS dyno to back anything up....LOL....

the world record for a YFZ on that dyno is something like 53HP for a big bore \stroker..... so if anyone has something to show.... strap it down to the KMS rollers and have at it.... :)

I dont care what it dynos at.. I am concerned with the ride feeling not bragging numbers.

is all the smack blab..... every time.....and plenty of the those guys are close enough to KMS.....

but mention bringing their machine, that they smack blab over constantly, to strap down to the dyno rollers and show what they've got.....

and all you hear is crickets chirping......

Here we go, it looks low to some people but let me tell you, im 280 lbs and it pulls me into a wheelie even in third gear SITTING on the tank.


I dont know how to read curves like some of you might be able to, give me positive opinions. If you wanna talk sh*it, go somewhere else or bring your bike and put your money where your mouth is.

I want to thank foremost John at Venom (Mixxer) He has been nothing but professional and knows his stuff. I am very happy with the results and I cannot wait to really open it up at the dunes and cover my friend on his KX500 with loads and loads of sand! John thank you so much and I cannot wait to only further develop the bike! Tell your wife I appreciate the free gifts as they look GREAT! That exhaust is LOUD! LOL My neighbors LOVE IT when I fly down the street, quite a bit louder then the Yoshi was thats for sure. I like being the annoying grease monkey neighbor with the fast bike

That is a very broad strong power curve! I'm impressed. Especially since that is on the KMS dyno. The tq on that motor is very strong too. When comparing the 51.53hp to the 34.77tq you have a very torquey motor which for you will pull very strong!

Also by looking at those curves the 15 tooth should work very well for what you are looking for.

Ok, IMO I'd ride it the way it is. The high and low points on the A/F graph are intake waves harmonics. You could rejet it, but you won't be able to smooth them out better... but it would move the high and low points around in the scale.... and IMO the curve is broad and strong so I'd leave it.

What is your jetting anyways?

170 Keihin main Jet, thats all they wrote on the sheet that they changed. Whatever it was jetted at before with just the intake and Yoshi exhaust was like a 150 Dynajet main so they switched that to the 170 Keihin. Thats all I know thus far.

Do you know what needle is in it? How does it run at 1/2 throttle? Depending on what needle is in there and how it rides, depends on if I personally weould change the main jet or not. But if it runs good I say leave it. :)

I believe he said stock needle, he said it has like seven positions and I am only not sure which position.
