I haven't said one bad word about this site yet..... and here it is. My one and only complaint that absolutely irritates the HELL out of me. No matter if I click "remember Me" or not. It only takes 10 minutes of not logging in on any computer I'm on and I have to log in again. w00ter!!! I'm soo used to other Vbulliten style forums where once you click remember me you're logged in until you clear your cookies.
Sorry
Rant off.

Did you try clearing all your cookies and seeing if the problem persists? I don't have this problem, I'm always logged in automatically.

im always logged in too, you might have your computer set to clear accounts once you log off the net, or something else is interfering. but it must be on your end.

Try using one computer...
I THINK we have it setup so you can only login from one computer and keep you logged in. It's more of a security issue (in case you forget to sign out of a public computer, etc).

Security for what? This isn't a banking website. No offense.

Lets say you save your password in some school computer or something and some tool sheds look up the recent websites someone has been on and goes on yfzcentral on your sn. They could make posts and stuff and get you banned ect. ^^^

I don't mean to be a smartass but I don't agree with Fort Knox security on a meassage board. IMHO

security is important here. they get on your private messages, find a phone number, something to do with paypal. or just some info you dont want people to see, etc
Its the sites job to protect that info for us. If you dont like that then, build your own forum with no security

im sure steve has put a TON of effort, free time, and money into building this site up into what it is today, im sure he wants to protect himself and his "customers" from what ever could possibly go wrong, whether the threat is real of not isnt the point, i dont think anything could go wrong, but with hackers trying to plant viruses and ruin anything they can, i would want to protect my work too.
