about 2 summers ago, i blew the engine in my blaster, and its been sitting in my garage. ive contemplated throwing a 240 kit into her, but at the same time, ive also thought about something a little larger, IE a yz250f motor, or even a 250 twostroke. anyone on here have experience with either (kit or engine swap) and have any advice?

i ran a 240 vitos kit on my old race blaster, it sucked intll we ported it then it really came alive. factory 7 makes a nice 240 as well as trinity and vitos, but i wouldnt sink a ton of money into it inless your planning on keeping it for a while.

i called the guys up at Factory 7 - they seemed pretty helpful. this blaster is gonna be for my girl. im thinking about getting thier true 200 kit and going with a block off - would 32:1 be a good mixture without the injector?

ask for denny....
and as for my opinion...you'd probly be better off going hybrid (another engine) than working your stock engine over to what you want it to be unless you plan on really getting into racing this blaster. (no offense, ive raced before and know how much money can get tied up into the machines, even if it is only a blaster)
