2001 WR250f

So I was going to check my valves and I took out the two case plugs to find the TDC marks on the side left case (sitting on the bike). And oil came out (mostly out the bottom plug) is that normal? I know none came out my YFZ450. Just was wondering if anyone knew if that is normal? Also Does anyone know if the WR will use the same shims that the YFZ450 quad uses?

has the bike been sitting for a while? the excess oil has probably just ran down from the tank in the frame. its no big deal, jst check the level once you start it again.

no the shims are smaller diameter than the 450's, they need a 7.48mm shim compared to the 9.48 that the 450's take
