im doin a new top end on my quad, all new valves & springs, port & polish by a local shop, pretty much goin all fresh up top. i was gunna do a big bore kit but i dont wanna lose any reliability. i want a high compression piston but i dont wanna find or pay more for race gas just to go ride my quad. so the question is why should i buy your 12.25:1 stock bore piston over an oem piston? i read about the piston on your webpage, and ive read great reviews about your work, but i cant get any feedback from anyone who has actually used one in there quad. what am i really gunna benefit from throwin this piston in my quad?

if you read everything listed on the web page.... and don't know enough about what makes a difference in a piston's reliability and power production to make a decision....

i suggest you use the internet to do a little self educating on what qualities...besides static compression ratio...contribute to the performance of a piston....

tons of information to be had.... :)... !

once you read up on piston performance topics, you would then be shopping for a piston based on a shopping list with your own wish list of criteria......such as:

tighter squish tolerances for improved squish velocity\ mixture speed\ and detonation resistance

low tension nitrided ring pack for less friction (free HP) and longer ring life

lateral gas ports for added ring seal pressure from compression\ combustion

ceramic coated wrist pins for better oil retention

forced pin oilers

efficient combustion chamber shape for better flame travel and better breathing during cam overlap.....etc...etc...

^^stuff like that^^

and no matter what the length of list you come up with....it's already part of the Venom pistons
