I was running a 661 knee brace, I dont remember the exact model but i do know they were 400$ each when i bought mine. My knees are SHOT from racing and there worth the money.... except they dont like some boots

a brace wont stop injury altogether...it spreads the impact throughout your leg....a big enough hit will break something

I have a CTi2 and can't Come up with anything negetive to say about it. There are aton af custom paint jobs you can get with it and if you get the mx package you get the knee cap protector. mine was professionally fitted and comes with a serial number. No matter how long I am wearing it I don't have a problem with it slipping down me leg and I can hardly tell that I am wearing it. It also wears well with mx boots. A++ in my opinoin

ive had reconstructions on both my knees now, and have the asterisk cell which is a good knee brace imo, but i just tried the don joy brace that worrkers comp paid for and it is much better than even the asterisk! the asterisk, as all the other name-brand mx braces, give you support, but there is still more movement allowed in your knee than an "injury specific medical rehab brace" like the don joy. your cartilage, once broken or damaged, may continue to "break apart" during instances of forward/aft movement in your knee or hard jarring, impact or strees placed on your knee.
