Anyone else have horrible service with these guys? They screwed my uncle over pretty hard on 3 bikes. So when he sold them to buy 3 others he didn't go back. I couldn't understand why until my recent issue with my bike. Never will I give that place money again.

Try Power Yamaha in Stayton. They're awesome to deal with.

X2 for Power Yamaha. If you think the Salem Cycle sports is bad.... Their store in Eugene makes them look pretty good. I don't know how they stay in business they have no concept of customer service, and do a good job of pissing off return customers. Ohh and they are opening a 3rd store in Corvallis... Gee I can't wait strokin.gif

I actually work across the street from Power those guys are amazingly nice. My uncle whom I live with just picked up 2 bikes from them. And there prices are way better then anything else i've found.

I was young and dumb when I bought my yfz and was trying to get some warranty stuff taken care of at Cycle Sports and boy was that a bad idea.

And yes, I agree the eugene store is horrible too. Buddy almost bought a honda there until the guy had us drive 1.5 hours to get there to only tell us it was to late for a credit app. DUMB people!

i know some of the guys outside of their work and there cool but at work its the way the company works. i bought my yfz from POWER and it was way clap.gif better

I have to agree about both Cycle sports locations. I used to worked for the Eugene location for about 2-3 months over the summer when I was in college and that place is rediculous. I couldn't stand to work there any longer. They offer zero training what so ever and every manager is rude. Just about every salesman is a complete idiot. When I was there they had around 15 salesman, 3 of us were the only ones in college getting a degree. The rest.... well i'm sure you know are all idiotic and highschool drop outs that come to work drunk... literally. loser.gif All you hear is, "what can I do to get you to buy this today"?

Cycle Sports is just a horrible dealership in general, don't take your business there. We purchased my wifes Raptor 700 there and got royally screwed by scam artist salesmen and management. I wanted to help my wife (then girlfriend) make the final deal and while I was helping one of their employees load up the quad that we just agreed to purchase they got my wife aside and convinced her to sign for the rip off gold service and some other things that we definitely did not need. Ended up costing about 3k more than what we had originally agreed on and since my wife signed there was nothing we could do. They have horrible customer service and could care less about current customers as long as they make a buck. They severely lack any knowledge. You cannot call in and expect any timely help, they prioritize their in store customers. Their employees are total jerkoffs. Their management blows and I can truthfully say that I hate them and I wouldn't trust them with a penny. I will never take my business there again and I recommend no one else does either.

Ramsey-Waite in Springfield is a decent Yamaha dealership, but they could have more to offer.

+1 on everything stated above... which is why I quit and went to work for a different company.

I actually worked for Ramsey Waite in Springfield for a little while and I really enjoyed working there. The employees are mostly knowledgable on the products they carry but there still are a few idiots that work there. The hard part about Ramsey is that the owners can be Very cool people but can also be Complete jerks. That business makes millions and all they care about at the end of the day is how much money they made. From that perspective it is understandable because it is a business but treating your customers and employees is extremely important too, which they lack at times.
Plus in the spring and summer time, you make A LOT of money as a salesman. It's been a few years since I worked there so I'm not sure how things are today, but I assume they are pretty good.

Actually cycle sports has been hurting for money for some time now, and they put the building they bought in the Corvallis area up for sale a few months ago. The new building was very close to Tangent off of Hwy 34.

I also heard through the grape vine that the Eugene location is up for sale too, and that Cycle Sports want to re-centralize in Salem, but I don't know that for a fact.

Woooooww.... that sucks. Its understandable though. There service overall absolutely sucks, it appears that its finally coming back to bite them in the ace. With the economy the way it is, you just can't afford to treat people the way they do.

A friend of mine was just offered a General manager position for both the salem and eugene store so I wonder how that is going to pan out.... strokin.gif

That place is such a joke.... I hope Ramsey Waite has the capacity to buy Honda and just put them out of business.

That's hilarious, I hope they fail completely. They really deserve to. I in no way feel sorry for the situation they are in. Burn, Cycle Sports, burn! angryfire.gif

A buddy of mine bought a honda at the eugene store with the maint package. Took it in to get an oil change, they forgot to put oil in it then argued with him about it strokin.gif I personnally only deal with Cottage Grove Yamaha and Redline Racing. My grandma worked for Ramsey-Waite for ever, and she told not to go there and their overpriced!
