im tryin to find a few guys to ride track with this weekend. i want to ride millcreek but if i dont find anyone to go with i may go to the ridge n ride their tracks.

I don't think Mill Creek is having practice this weekend. A lot of guys are going to Bremen to race instead.

i would go to bremen but i just turned 16 and my dad doesnt want me pullin a trailer alone yet. after a few more rides n him ridin with me with me pullin ill b able to go by myself but since my mom is goin with me this weekend i wont b able to go to bremen.

anyone else practicin anywhere? if not i guess im stuf with the ridge. gotta work on hittin the triple anyway LOL

I wish I would have seen this last week. I was looking for someone to go ride at the ridge with but I ended up doing a little trail riding at Wilbourn instead.

I'm still trying to learn how to control my YFZ in the air. I go to the track just about every chance I get but it'll probably be a while before I enter a race though because I still have a lot to learn. My machine is still stock except for the exhaust rejet and nerf bars that are coming in tommorow. I stil got to get a kill switch and some other small safety equipment so far now I am just trying to learn from more experienced riders.

Well, I'll try to remember to post when we're going riding again. You can come ride with us. There's a few guys I ride with that are CRAZY fast, and there's a few (like me) who are slow as Christmas. So you shouldn't feel too bad about it.

On another subject, where all do you trail ride? Me and a couple friends of mine have been looking for some places to ride trails that a 50" wide MX quad will fit on without tearing it all to pieces. I used to ride at a place called "The Bowl" but it got shut down and Sayre back in the day, but I don't know if it's even still open or not.

I went to Wilbourn atv trails in Hanceville this past weekend and most of the trails are wide enough that a 50" wide four wheeler would have no problem but some of the ruts might cause some problems with 18" tires though. This place has some of the best trails I've been down. It also has some pretty nasty hills if you like hill climbing. There is supposed to be 150+ miles of trails there and I believe it because we never hit half of the trails and I've been there twice.

grant i heard that a new place called minooka thats going to open up soon will be part of the bowl. ill let you know for sure that the name of that was right

and i saw the 2 guys that u ride with on the red hondas today too. they can flippin ride lol

Which 2 guys are you talking about? I know several guys on red Hondas that haul ass.

red hondas with white and red K&K graphics. one had a black quadtec hood and the other had white. both were baaaad lol

Did you catch their numbers? The only guy I know with K&K graphics and a white quad tech hood is a guy who just finished his '08 race bike, and I didn't think he'd ridden it yet. But I do know another guy with white quad tech hood and some other kind of graphics that rides at the ridge all the time. Was it these 2 guys?

I would love to go watch this weekend but I have to work Saturday.

I am probably going to ride this Sunday at Chandler Mtn. or The Ridge again. I learn alot more each time I go to the track and my endurance is slowly getting better. After watching all the guys at the ridge last weekend ride I know I have a long way to go yet.

It's not looking like it. I'm still waiting on a bunch of parts, my head is still at Dasa, and the frame and subframe are in the back of my truck but the rest of my junk is at Ken's. And since I'm still on call at work, I can't go down there and work on it. I guess I'll just go hang out and watch ya'll.



Has Chandler Mountain opened back up yet? They closed for the winter, and I haven't heard about them opening back up yet.

Gates open at 7 AM, practice starts at 9 AM, races start at 10 AM.

Yeah, I got conned into flagging. I was flagging the triple beside the pond where the tunnel goes under the track.

The guy on the white LTR was Cody Gibson. If I'm not mistaken, he runs Pro Am at the nationals or at least "A". I really thought Casey Martin would stay closer to him than he did, and Austin was hanging close to them for a while until his motor went boom. It was a bad day for all my fast friends. Adam killed the transmission in his bike, and both Rickey and Austins motor popped. They said the air filter came loose on Austin's TRX and the nut that holds the filter on got sucked into his motor.

That sucks!

I was there yesterday watching and I was impressed with the turn out. I didn't realize how rough the track actually was till I got out there during the practice. My arms were killing me after 2 laps. It gave me a new found respect for how fast some of those guys were.

I think you are thinking about Rickey. Was he #91? If so, that's Rickey. Austin is #717 and Adam is #28. Rickey killed his motor on his '07 race bike/practice bike in the first "Expert" moto, and I heard for the second moto he was gonna ride his '08 race bike that he just finished. But I left so I don't know if he did or not.

and he ended up racin the 08 race bike. he finishedd 3rd i believe. thay white ltr won, there was an orange R 2nd and he finished 3rd.

Yeah, the orange TRX was Casey Martin. He was riding for Media All-Stars at one time. I'm pretty sure both him and Cody Gibson run Pro Am at the nationals.
