gas it!!
i personally have weak hands and arms so finding the most comfortable ride is #1 on my list.

i run a precision staibilizer to help out but thats not what i'm here to talk about.

i put the inserts in my Pro Taper fat bars and defenately noticed the difference. just riding in the dunes or on the trails you can tell. i rode pretty much flat out for 20 min or so in glamis a few months ago on sand highway. after about 15 min its starts getting to you, but then again thats flat out. high vibration.

anyway i think they are great. not too expensive for some comfort. $69.99 or something like that.

Thanks for the review. I've been considering getting them for a little bit now. The thing is I already have Flexx bars and an Anti-vibe stem, so I'm not sure how much the inserts will help.
gas it!!
i wouldn't think it would help too much, but you never know i guess. might almost completely eliminate ALL vibe.

for me, $70 was worth a try. it might not be for you.
i would. i'm all about being comfortable. which also equals longer ride times for me. i hate getting beat up. i might still get an anit-vibe steering stem at some point.

ya, as long as its not too much of a pain in the a$$ to pull them out.
i shoved them in there pretty good. there are made to be transfered so it shouldn't be too much trouble.

but its gonna be awhile. i'm not gonna see my bike until the 14th

So, what's your verdict on the inserts now that it's been a year or more???

Your welcome......... I didn't even realize that the R had them, until I tried to put wrap-around hand guards on the quad. LOL

Would these yfzr inserts work in say protaper contour bars?
gas it!!
Pretty sure that the R's come with contour bars so, yes, they would work.

Did you get my message about the HID's?

Would buying odi grips with the snap end caps still work with those inserts?

You won't need the snap caps any more. The end of the bars will be filled with the plug.
09yfz450rse
would the flexx bars with odi lock on grips, anti vibe inserts, and powermadd handguards work
