ugotbit
Im running Hipers- 9x9 rears and 10x5 (4:1) Fronts Im going with 20' Irazors for the rear and 21' Razor2 fronts. I have heard the maxis tires are a harder compound than the ITP's

I running same size hipers as Ugotbit. Just make sure that you run 4:1 offset fronts, no matter what type of wheel they are. Ive run razor 2 fronts 21" and razor 1 rears 20", right now I have the perilli XC racerails on (22" fronts and 20: rear). They dont wear much at all. I like the razor better that the perillis. Im going to try the kenda klaw fronts and kenda HT or XC rears next.

The softer tire compounds will hook up better than the harder stuff, I just cant afford to buy several sets of tires every season.

here is the rear setup i am looking at getting. haven't seen alot of people running these rims though???

I run douglas wheels, 4x1 front, they only make 1 offset rear, and they are all 8 inches wide. I have seen guys with hipers and tireballs, 9 inches wide and the tire dips down in the middle, 9 inches is a little wide for what most tires were designed for. I am not sure why they ever decided to make them 9. I run ITP GNCC 21 front , Holeshot XC 20 rear. I have no complaint over the razr2 front, but the gncc does brake better, but the maxxis rear don't bite good enough for me, and razr rears are slightly lower than the XC. I swear a lot of bottle necks are created by razr tires, lower and don't bite as well, when it is wet you can really tell.
