Well first off the whole day started w00tered up I needed to get my new tires put on my truck and the ones that were on it were coming apart and they were 37 inch tires so by time I found a place that said they could change them and after 4hrs of waiting on them cause they were having more trouble than expected I finally was on my way to the track to meet my friends and after a few hrs of riding me and one of my friends was setting off to the side of the track and we decided to go back out for a couple of laps before we were going to leave and I was tired and really didnt feel like going back out but I told myself to sack up and go back out and when I hit the 3rd jump I came up a little short and the bike threw me over the handlebars and then fliped up in the air and landed on me at the time I was out of breath and thought it had just knocked the wind out of me and there was a guy behind me on a dirt bike and he came running up to me and asked me if I was ok and I told him to take my helmet off cause I couldnt breathe and after I had gotten my breath back I tried to roll over on my left side and get back up and I felt my right leg flop over and I couldnt move it and by time my buddy had gotten back to me he told me to lay still and thought I told him I had broke my leg and he was like no you had the wind knocked out of you and so I rolled back over and imeadiately he went and called an ambulance and when they arrived I was still laying there trying to get up and I didnt ever fill the quad hit my leg so the emt's was trying to get life flight to come and pick me up and in the mean time they had cut my pants off of me and they had to call 2 different hospitals before someone would careflight me and they had to take me to a pick up spot for the helicopter to land and after I had got to the hospital and went into the er I was starting to feel the pain and they were trying to get me into surgery but they had told me that unless someone else come in with a injury that was sticking out of the skin I would go into surgery so guess what there were 3 others that came in that needed to be done before me and I had to wait till the following day to have surgery and after I had came out of surgery they had put in a titanium rod from my hip to my knee with 4 screws that looked like drywall screws from lowes or home depot and the next day they had released me to go home and I was home for about a day and I started getting really bad nose bleeds and I was taken back to a local hospital and discoverd that I had developed 3 blood clots and I needed a blood transfusion all because the other hospital didnt follow up on there procedures and didnt put me on any blood thinners and I was in that hospital for another 4 days and once I got home again I seen my helmet and my quad and my helmet was crushed cause they said my head hit a rock and it has about a 10 inch long hole in it you could put your fist in it and the only thing wrong with my quad was it bent my grab bar from where it landed on me and bent my exhaust tip and the rest of the bike looked like brand new still so needless to say I have to learn to walk again and this happend back on september 8th and the doctors told me that I would be off of work for 8 to 10 months and its just now been 2 months and im already starting to walk on it again my doctor told me that my bone was growing back very rapidly so he thinks I will be able to return to work by january and be back to normal so hopefully he is right well I know that there is some stuff that I probably didnt mention so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask and ill gladly answer them cause im not going anywhere for awhile lol.
