first let me apologize for not giving my thanks to vern & his parents sooner. being an international superstar is hard. j/k..........

then sorry for so much typing

holy sh!t canada was cold as hell. going to canada and having such a great time would have only been a dream if it wernt for vern, his parents, and his friends. as i got off the plane and the b!tch asking were i was going at customs trying to interogate me and my chick i thought what the hell is the countrys problem. that sour taste in my mouth was short lived once daybreak came. once day break came i thought i was in virginia. the lay of the land for the most part was pretty close to the same. after driving for a bit we got to verns parents house for a late breakfast. which was like a huge feast canadians like to eat. then once were stuffed its off to get the rental sleds (rmk700). once we get the the sleds on the trailer and me almost wrecking in the parking lot. its off to valemont b/c (bring cash). after driving for like a hole day we finally get to our hotel which was pretty cool it had a huge fire place and an indoor heated pool with a slide. more about that later. the next morning bright and early we head off to the trails of clamina. we spent about six hours in the trails and 50 some miles of riding. i was tuaght a lesson by the sled very quickly they are hard as hell to ride and they dont turn unless you get completly commited to turning. i also thought a 700cc 2 stroke would be more than enough for these hills that we came upon. boy was i wrong. hitting the bottom of a hill a 50+mph and having to turn around on the face of a mount less than a hundred yards later had me screaming give me nitrous. well after being completly amazed by the mountains of canada. i was ready to go back to the hotel after wreslting a 500lb sled for the first time. once we got back it was time to hit the pool. it sure is a crazy feeling to be swimming with 2-3ft of snow just out side. then there was the slide we were the masters of the slide. we went down the slide in more ways that anybody else i am sure from the reverse fetal position, the corkscrew, and the xxx rate 69 positon (me and my chick). i never thought a face full of crotch was bad but that sh!t hurt. well after the pool it was time to get some food. this is when i was introduced to some hp sauce instead of a-1. after dinner and 2 kokanees it wasnt even 6:30 pm and we where in bed passed the fock out. so the next morning we headed back tho alberta and this is where things get complicated. if you happen to drive or know anybody who drive a 91 ford areostar stay away from vern if you want to keep it. this is when we shortened one by about three feet. once we got done messing with that we went to the biggest mall in the world and i dont understand how canadians have any money since every where we went they tried to rape you on the price. after a couple of hours at the mall we headed off to verns parents house for some homade perogies. man those were so good bring some down in may please. once we where done with dinner it was off on the sleds for a night ride what a rush 80mph across a field a 10pm was scary. and me the seasoned rookie trying to keep up with vern was a bad idea. that when it happend i dropped off a 3-4 little snow clif and you instinct is to gas it to get the front end up. well thats wrong it just shoots you into the bottom and then swallows you and the sled whole. well since i couldnt see any thing and i didnt want to get stuck i just kept it pinned. finally i started getting the hang of it as we were headed back to the house. just in time for a shower and bed for the next day. to come on an airplane saying farwell to one of those guys you can call a true friend & also some people i can consider a distant family. once again i cant thank vern & his family for a trip that me and my chick will never forget..................................... since were not quite able to repay him for such a memorable trip. i just want him to know how much we apreciate his and his families hospitality is apreciated very much. thanks again vern.

good to see you fellow americans comin to check out a few things we have to offer. there is some killer sledding here for sure. my buddy builds sleds for the hardcore mountain junkies. his last one is a 40000 APEX with custom airbrushing and the one he just sold with full boost just under 400hp. sick sick sick is all I have to say. vailmont is 5 hours north of me and revelstoke is about 2-3 hours north. Im in a place celled Kelowna, which everyone calls canadas california. West edmonton mall is pretty huge, but ive been there enough times thats its boring now.

It is not that boring if you hit a minivan hard enough to write it off on the way there and give yourself a little adrenaline boost....... disgust.gif
