i want to get an efi but i dont know which one to get, i have a k&n filter, and a dr. d slip on pipe, i dont plan on doing any engine mods!???

an efi system for yfz is out there but i have only found one that you can buy set for our bikes and have heard nothing but horror stories about it guys have spent days on the dyno only to take it off and go back to carbs. the system i'm buying is very $$$ around 2300$ and its not setup for our bikes out the door. it will take a bit of machine work and alot of other customization. but because its not a openloop system it wont take as much ecu tuning and the other system. i can do every thing with out a dyno.

one question why are you looking for efi with such a baseline bike. why dont you just buy a 700r? would cost you less in the long run if you not looking for max power. the bike im building will generate over 120 hp if need be. but i need efi because at those combustion pressure levels i cant afford to have my jetting be lean by mistake. the piston would be blown down over the connecting rod. you can safely run super high compression but the cam timing has to be right as well does the A/F ration. my motor will run a inter cooler AND water/alcohol injection system along with almost no adv timing if not retarded.

i may have miss read your post i found it in the new post search and didn't look at the subform. are you asking for efi on a 700r? cuz if you are i want you to get on your knees next to your 700 and read what is says on the plastic then hit your self repeatidly very hard and sell you quad!!!!!

Hey thats cute man its too bad my 700 will eat you up all day long..... anyways man good choice on buying the 700. the best efi controller you can buy is the Dyno Jet power commander. this one you can hook up to your laptop and adjust all the curves through out the rpm range. best place to buy it at is www.fuelmoto.com $279 shipped and they can pre program it for what setup you have.
