maybe someone can shine some light on a rumour I heard. I heard that Brule is shut down, I dont want to drive 3+ hours to find out it is, does anyone know for sure?

I haven't heard but I wouldn't be suprised if it is.......too many idiots leaving their garbage and bottles there. It is horrible after a long weekend. They were going to shut it down about 5 years ago but the local ATV club in Hinton went ouut and picked up all the garbage back then.

As of right now the road to bruel in front of the overlander is blocked off. Many people have seen this on the way to marmot basin. As for the logging road entrance nobody knows right now but i'm guessing it is if not it will be very soon. you could still get in just not with sand paddles or a truck.

well last year the, I guess rangers came to our camp and took pictures of camp and vehicles so if there was a mess left we would get a ticket. Theay also said next year (this year) you will need a headlight.

Drive further down the highway towards Hinton, on the LEFT side of the highway you will see the sign WILDHORSE LAKE - Go down that road and keep going until it looked like your getting close (sandy conditions) There is a road that turns off to the left once you've gone far enough in - DO NOT TURN LEFT TOO SOON OR ELSE YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF AT WILDHORSE OR KINKY LAKE

The road that goes left takes you 2 another left turn (trees on both sides of this road) THE DUNES ARE VERY CLOSE

Not much at all.. Like a foot in some places

Hey YFZRIDER cool video man, our Brule stuff never is too wild, we're heading down there for June 7th to the 10th or 11th. Should be a good group of us too. I might IM you with a couple questions about jetting your YFZ and maybe the entrances to Brule now since we're not too familiar with it.

Hey so What kind of tires are you guys running? Paddle or knobbie? I used my stock 18's last time and were no good. This time I will be running 20'' sidewinders.

We were there the weekend after, got a few off my phone. We'll be there on this sunday to tues.

Well we went there for labour day long weekend and it was awesome. The weather was perfect and the riding was even better. Lots of people, some guy was out there with a "Banshee Killer", it was a old LT frame with some rotax 600+ motor in it. It got its ass raped, maybe a blaster killer. There was one guy on a TRX that I couldnt beat and a YFZ with a "ice cube" 490 that walked all over me. For the most part I could take most, including my cousins piped Banshee, my buddies 660, buddies Raptor 700, Predator, another 660 and a Raptor 350 . Would be nice if I could beat my buddies YZ450F bike, that thing hauls ass
