WHAT IS THE BEAT PIPE FOR THE 700

LTE's

Your going to get a lot of different answers on this based on where you ask and peoples personal opinions. The facts are, the most poweful single exhaust right now is the Ron Woods. The most powerfull in frame dual exhaust are the LTE's which also have the best curve. The number one out of frame dual is the Barker reverse megaphone drag pipes that RF sells and has an exclusive on. Kenz is also in the process of making a dual out of frame drag pipe that will be a top performer.

All the rest of the single exhaust systems are fairly close

So for you the best pipe will be geared toward the type of riding you do, your budget and what you like the looks of most.

If you call 1.2 HP on the very top where not many people twist them to out of the water then yeah, I guess your right

the wb aluminum pro with the hotbox or the e2 slipon with hotbox. hotbox is the wb efi controller. The yoshi complete as well as the ct racing sonic full are awesome

I'm pretty partial to my LTE's as well. Mark H at Kenz managed to pull 73 RWHP and 61 ft/lb of tq out of my LTE equiped 780 stroker. Whats nice is that it is as dunable as it was when it was just a bolt on, the LTE's give it a real nice curve.



The new Barker in frames that are coming out look awful nice as well

my dad has an akrapovic pipe they are really good, i dont really know if its the best or worse but it makes it nice and loud and also increases the power all round..

with the single pipe it is hard to beat the Ron Woods for flow. Hp numbers are good, not as much peak as the duals but better than most. I gained about between 1-3 Hp along the HP curve over my LRD and GYTR

Depends on what you want in a pipe, I love my Sparks not just a drag pipe just a great all around pipe!

A lot of people in my area are partial to the yoshimura. One thing about that exhaust is the quality is second to none. I havent seen a sparks for the rappy 700 yet im gonna go check it out now :)

edit - just read the pipe shootout. Im suprised but then again I don't think any of my customers have left the straw in. just a guess though. I wonder how these systems would compare with the spark arrestor/silencers pulled out?
