well, went stunt'n today. and i was doing a 2nd gear seatstander/jump to sitdown. i have NO CLUE WHY but when i jumped to sitdown i went more to the left of the seat, slid down off the left side of the seat and the quad flipped and rolled over me. all i remember is getting up and seeing blood LITERALY squirting in the air out of my arm. i ripped my shirt off imediatly and wrapped it and held pressure on it waiting for the ambulance. i stopped the bleeding myself before they got there. idk how many stitches i got. but anyone interested in buying a '04 yfz LET ME KNOW. all i have to buy for it is bars, steering column, and im going to get new rear plastics and she's good as new. REALLY the only thing wrong w/ it from this wreck is the bars are bent. the column has BEEN bent, and the rear plastics took a beating. but i think im done w/ stunting. i really wasnt out trying to learn anything new, and i am just sick and tired of having no where to ride/stunt at. so i think once i get **** fixed on it, its going up for sale.

well anyways, here's two pics of my arm. what cut me was my rear grab bar. from scraping 12oclock so much, i've shaved the bar down to such a thin piece of aluminum that it acted like a razor when the quad flipped. spreading my arm open to a 6''x3'' deep gash! i got stitches inside (disolve) and out. if your squeemish and dont like blood, then dont scroll down, but here are three pics.......one of my bar, one of before they stitched it (thats my muscle your looking at!!!!), and one from after...............

I was eating a donut when I scrolled down to the pics. I'm glad I don't have a weak stomach or I would have been tasting them again.

That sucks about the wreck.....sucks even more you have no place to ride. Get better and good luck if you decide to sell it.

well on the inside they had to stitch up my muscle a bit, so there are disolving stitches in there. and no, i DONT plan on stunting it again. NOT out of fear, b/c w00ter happens, and im confident in what i do on it, just had one bad spill. but i want to just fix what needs to be fixed and sell it. $3000

Anyone remember one of the early quad moveis/crusties where that bloke on a banshee crashed and cut under his arm really bad. Well this is nearly as bad as taht.

yeah it was the first huevos ^ but i think this is a little bit worse, it must of hurt when they stitched it up trying to get the skin back so they could stitch it up

why didnt you just replace the grab bar there only like $80 how much where those stiches but im sorry to hear it but if every one quit riddin after they wrecked no one would be riddin wait till you heal then show that bike whos boss

yfzrider05, nah man. i'll be perfectly honest. it never hurt.............UUUUNTIL they took the shirt/gaws/wrap off it. maybe it was adrenaline, idk. but even when i first stood up to see it, it didnt hurt like you would think. and TRUST ME, that suprised me, lol. only time it hurt was under extreme pressure, or when they would take off what was covering it and stopping the bleeding.....b/c when the bleeding stops, obviously its b/c it ''clots'' or scabs and dries out. so when they would open it back up, it would HURT LIKE HELL. they kept filling my IV w/ all sorts of w00ter, lol. so i WATCHED them man stitch my muscle, then stitch my arm on the outside. i was drugged up like you wouldnt believe. normaly, w/ stitches you ATLEAST feel the tug on the skin, NO pain......but you feel your skin being pulled. i felt NOOOOOOTHING, LOL. i just watched him stitch the muscle then the outside. it took one hour!!!!!

and hpfreek, its not a fear at all thats got me wanting to get rid of it. man, im dyinig to take it out NOW to wheelie it, i wish i could. i just have been wanting a bike and dont want to wreck on it more and more and end up dumping my money in it time after time. the quad is whats keeping me from getting a streetbike. i cant afford two toys, so the quads gotta go. but we'll see what happens when i get it all fixed back up to the way it was......b/c i've BEEN ''trying to sell it'' lol, but the stunting keeps pulling me back, lol!!!!

hahaha well damn. bored as hell on a saturday night and here i am a year later for SOME reason checking out the good'ol yfzcentral.

well, im all healed up, everythings good. i sold the quad, bought myself a '01 cbr f4i this past august. so far i've already put 10k miles on it, hahahahaha. its so much funner than the quad but i will admit i miss stunting that thing. i refuse to stunt the bike, parts are too expensive and just not worth wrecking and not being able to ride it. plus, im into getting it over in the turns , i LOVE twisties!!!!!

i still cannot believe i wrecked and did...............THAT........to my arm! wow, oooooooooh the memories. i still have the collarbone brace and the hospital bracelet hanging in my room from my two worst wrecks on that beast.

GOD i'd love to have that quad back.......aaaaahhh



oh well, here's my new love, haha. let me know whatcha think. i bought it all stock, i did all the mods.
