my buddy was on a quad recent ly helmetless hes not the brightest dude ever and he went up a hill and it some how bounced up and creamed him inthe face hard i saw the pic of him in the hospital his head was shaped like an egg from the sweeling he now has his mouth wired shut, cant really talk, on a liquid diet and has to take liquid pain killers....yuk this is why u shud wear a helmet!

Man I feel for the guy.....I broke my jaw recently over clearing a jump at a track, but I even had a helmet on. I was looking like Jay Leno at first but the swelling goes away. You don't realize how much you take solid food for granted until everything has to go through a blender b4 you eat it. Good luck to your friend.

i saw my friend the other night hes all better now. he told he broke his nose. hhis cheeck bone both sides of the lower jaw, busted his lip open and has screws in his chin... and hes says he cant feel the right side of his face. he also lost 25 pounds due to not eating solid foods. he now has a helmet
