Well I dont know if any of you have heard, but this past weekend at the Gatorback GNC youth production rider #23 Zak Griffin was killed during a race.
Apparently he had swerved out of the way rolling over a jump and another rider jumping landed on him. He had severe chest injuries and apparently died on the scene.
Its so sad when things like this happens, almost makes me think twice about racing.
Be sure to keep Zak's family in your prayers as well as the rider who hit him.

man i havent looked in this part of the forum until i posted my thread. but the more i read the more i get scared.

i really hate to read these kind of things but it gets us all back to reallity it can all end in one moment one wrong move. may our thoughts be with him and the rider who must live the rest of his life with that on his shoulders

i was at gatorback when it happend, very sad, pro auctioned off lots of stuff for his family, seriously made me think twice about racing

thats sad i hope the rider that landed on him isn't like goin thruogh therapy. stuff like that really makes you think twice
