Im wanting to get your guys opinion on another possible project. We currently offer our warning labels in a variety of smooth and diamond plate finishes but im considering offering them in carbon fiber. The only draw back is the material cost is alot more than aluminum. If I offered these im thinking they would run around $38.00 per set. Let me know your thoughts on this. Just something im kicking around. These were offered a few years back by another company but I dont think they are selling them anymore. Maybe there is a reason! Thanks again.

I have your diamond plate covers that are powdercoated and i think that they are great! clap.gif My brother has a set on his grizzly and we both are happy with the product +service.Carbon fiber would be nice as long as the price is not too high.

Thanks im glad you like them. Im not sure how the carbon labels would hold up. They are very rigid. If you were to get tangled up some how and flex your plastic im thinking they would break. They would definetly look trick though!

I have seen some of them on this site and they look pretty cool. You should make them and see how they sell. I think the other ones on this site were cheaper then what you would sell them for though.

If you made them in Carbon Fiber, I defintely would buy a set. bowdown.gif

Thanks for your input on this. We have some carbon fiber coming in next week. Im going to make a few sets to see how they come out. If everything tests out ok, they will be available in about 2 weeks.

It has alot to do with the thickness. I will have a set installed on our Raptor which is basically the same as the YFZ shortly. I will post some pics and the info. as soon as I can.

We are still waiting on material but here is a set I made to test them. The carbon is 1mm (the same thickness as our aluminum) thick and made from a black 2x2 twill with a very nice gloss. The flexability is pretty good. I didnt want to go to thin because im afraid that if your plastic gets tweaked they may crack. These seem like they will hold up pretty good.

Thanks,

Drew
