Im lookin at gettin a new atv to step up from my Raptor 250, I have it narrowed down to the original yfz and the yfzx. Have any of you guys had efi problems, my friend had two 700s and both had efi problems when we played in the mud and I really dont want that. Also any frame breaks yet, almost everyone I know who has a 700 has gone through atleast one sub frame. Please comment, dont wanna buy the wrong bike

I don't think there have been any, major, problems that have consistantly popped up.

We have been racing a YFZR for a year now, and I've been very happy with it, other than what it costs to get some major HP #'s out of it. For 90% of the people who buy these, the will be very happy with it. If your not going to race it, buy the extended warrentee for sure.

Ya I'de deffinetly get the extended warranty, got one on my raptor now and it paid for a clutch cable.

im prety sure efi should be prety good but def get warrenty , cause its not like the carb where you can work on it by yourself , 10x more complicated

I have had mine for awhile now and haven't had any problems yet, even after all the engine work I did (Well it wasn't that much engine work). I would get an R or X and also get the warranty.

Thanks for all the help, im gonna get the 450r cause my little 250 is a good tight woods bike and I wanna good track bike. Also they look pretty awesome to show off in lol.
