I like your tire recycling. Use them for a corner shelving unit.... pretty slick!
On a side note.... for your black plastics. Did you achieve the flat black look by sanding them, painting them, or something else?
thanks man its pretty sweet, nice and makeshift, just how i like it hahah
and there actually somewhat "shiny" becuase i clear coated them, but i was using a out of the can style bedliner, and it was very flat black, almost a grey to it though, and once i clear coated it, it came alot darker and shinier, if you were looking for a flat black play around with a few different brands of the bed liner becuase different brands are a different shade of black, or, just get the most durable one and then paint ontop of it flat black, then clear coat after for durability if you want,
if you are planning on doing this then i highly suggest sandblasting your plastics so add abraisive to it for the paint to stick, my first time i just got sandpaper and went to town for a hour or 2, but spots that stayed smooth (the battery box, ect) the paint peeled very easy, but the spots that were sanded well, like the main surface on the fender nose, is impossible to come off, i tried taking my plastics to a sandblaster after a while to make it all a even roughness and the spots that were sanded well i could hold the gun there for a minute and only get the size of a toonie off... rediculous.. do it right the first time haha
