my buddy's family has the same one. Its really nice for racing. Have all your gear and other equipment seperate from the rest of the "living" space. It works really well. And it saves the hassle of B-Trainin with another seperate trailer.
I would look for a deisel dually truck. They have a Chev Duramax with airbags to haul it. Man i tell ya, its pretty tough on that Chev. If you can find a decnt dually, buy it.

Thanks guys!!! I appreciate it. I plan to buy a 2006 Dodge 3500 Dually Cummings Diesel tomorrow, it has very low miles and should do the job. If not, I have a local shop, MCS diesel that can hook me up with some more power. Might end up needing airbags like was said. not sure on that yet. It is big, 13.4 tall and 40' long!
4 full size ATV's will fit easily. It will have my wife's and my YFZ, and the kids are smaller.
And, I am not rich at all, just worked really hard to pay our house off and now have a little extra cash for toys. Gotta live and get the most out of life, or there is no way I'd own it.

They love theres. I reallyt like it too. Dont mind goin on race weekends with them lol.
They havent had any malfunctions or anything happen to it since they bought it new last spring. The Fuzions are very nice campers.
They dont have a dually. Its just a 2500HD Duramax with dually rear suspension. There airbags are help alot. It rides nice with the camper on, but like a fricken brick without it.
Dodge have heavier suspension in them, and being a Cummins, she'll have plenty of power.

Awesome trailer guy! The Dodge will pull it nicely. I got a F450 with the 6.4l to pull my Weekend Warrior. It sucks on fuel milage but it has the 4.88's. Enjoy your trailer.

PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT ON A TRUCK TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a loaded 2007 GMC 3500 4x4 dually, duramax with the 6-speed allison trans. It has 31,000 miles. Looks new. Paid more than I had hoped to pay, but it should be a nice truck.
Btw - the Dodge deal did not work out, the truck was not clean enough.

Why buy a duramax, then modify just to make it pull that trailer???
or 08 f350 pulls our hauler just fine stock.... And it gets weighed down prob. twice that of the posted hauler....

Fords are the slowest diesels and have the most problems. Also an Alli tranny is THE one to have for towing. We have a 2500 with the 6spd Alli with Banks everything and that thing will haul almost anything.

We have owned a dodge...JUNK
Chevy=bad ass! Def. had the best aftermarket power potential for very little $
now our 2nd ford...first one was reliable as hell. This new one is pure luxury!
Youll love your chevy. it will never have a problem pulling your rig... wich by the wy is very bad ass!
Have fun! now that you have more room for toys you can con the honey into a rail!!!
Heres our new setup.. It has a custom solid oak interior, heated floors, and remote start generator... Nothing like luxury on the sand right?

I only see problems after modifications are done.... and that goes for all diesels.... Our last ford had 207k miles... Replaced a coupleu joints thats it... Pretty impressive for only being used to tow our trailer through the mountains..
Our chevy was a good truck no doubt, but did have a few tranny problems Not near as many as our older dodge! HOLLY 6 tourqe converters in 2 years!
With out a doubt if i wanted to build a bawls out diesel that could pull hard and haul ass it would be a duramax!

The LMM or the LBZ? If you aren't sure is it the 2007.5 or 2007? Either way both of those engines are the best performing...now you aren't going to be winning any drags at stop lights but you also aren't going to be trying to stick your foot out and push to go faster

Nice! We have a 07 2500HD Classic and before we did any performance mods it pulled pretty awesome. Our trailers are no where near your size but with ours (21ft 5th wheel and a 18ft enclosed) I seriously hardly feel them behind me, so I think you should be alright with towing. Putting it in tow mode is a must, remember to do it EVERY time you start it up with a trailer behind you. Also, if you are driving anywhere that isn't flat land...definitely put it in manual and drop it down to 5th gear...your tranny will thank you in the long run. Also for such a big trailer, you may want to look it buying one of these.

Well, went to Dallas TX from St Louis area to get the truck yesterday. It looks new, I was so relieved, going that far without seeing it was crazy.

One thing I forgot....no matter when, get a EGT (Exhaust Gas Temp.) gauge before a big towing trip....high EGTs is what kills these motors.

I was thinking that too. Big towing trip is right around the corner. Wish I knew if I was gonna end up buying a chip / tuner. If so, might get one built in. If not, just need to buy a gauge. Would you knot pull the toy hauler without one???

Depends...is it gonna be up and down sorta stuff? And if you don't install it....just take her easy on hills and that sorta stuff....if you are in higher RPMs for a while go a lil slower. The tricky part is, you won't see a huge rise in engine temp, but the EGTs will be up in the danger levels.
Also...just a suggestion...(disclaimer: I am no diesel pro, I have just been reading up a LOT the past 5 months on them so this is just my humble suggestion), a 4 or 5 inch exhaust really helps these breath, we installed a 4in w/out the muffler and it is HARDLY louder (Chevys are really quiet unless you take out the Cat) and it helped the EGTs substantially even before we installed the programmer.
