i just purchased a trail tech vapor computer and i am wanting to hook it directly to my key switch so it only comes on if the key is turned on. right now it is hooked directly to the battery with an on/off switch. but i want to make it so no one can walk up to my yfz and flip that switch and cause my battery to go dead. so my question is which wire do i splice to hook up the power to on my key switch. also what color is the wire.

im not sure but i dont think you can do that because of teh wire diffrences

is it just a ground and 12v power? if so just use a voltmeter and check to see what wire has 12v coming from it when the key is on and splice into that and then just hook up the ground straight to the body
