Ok so my ignition was snipped when my quad got stolen. Cant afford a new key assembly yet, and im tired of roll starting it...

Where the thieves cut my ignition, theres 4 wires--- red, red with stripe, brown, brown with stripe. I tried putting all the wires back to each other on the other side of what was cut (the 4 wires that go to the black thing for the key)and turning the key on and hitting the start button but that does absolutely nothing. ive tried many combos but cant figure it out.

How do i hotwire using these wires? They did it, but i cant figure out how.

You can use a torch to heat up the wires, then they will be hot for a little while.

Why on earth would any of you continue to post on a public forum how to "hot wire" your quads? Have you lost your minds? Anyone can Google search this, go in, read your posts, and go steal a YFZ!! Unless you are just that selfish and don't care about anyone else's quads. Think!! And if you posted how to do it, instead of PM'img like you should, then go back in and hit "delete" or edit your own responses.

Some people make it even easier for the thieves to steal quads.........
