you will need to rejet it. see the jetting 101 thread for more info. imo it comes out a lot easier when the exhaust is hot

its fuel injected... cant rejet.. I"m not buying a programmer unless I buy an exhaust.

You'll be fine. The R is a little fat from the factory, anyway. We ran ours for a while without the pea-shooter or the airbox lid, at sea level. When I pulled the head off, it didn't show any signs of running too lean.

I pulled mine out. I have run several days at the track and have had no problem. I do not have a controller at this point. Hasn't blown up yet, will it, maybe. If it blows then I will have to get it ported make it alot faster. i dont think you will have a problem.
