my dad and i are thinking of rebuilding a 2006-09 yfz450 from the ground up but the problem im having is calculating the costs vs buying a used one. i found some good deals on yfz motors for about 1k. i need to know where i can all the bolts needed to do this and at what price range. what are the main things i need to start looking for? so far i have found a motor, frame, a arm, swingarm.

your better off buying a used 04-05 for about 2500 and calling it done. theres so many small parts and bolts its way too much of a hassle. and it would cost alot more. just save yourself all the headache and buy a cheap used one, you'll be glad you did.



but.....if you do decide to go that route. i got a bunch of cheap parts for sale

your better off buying a used one that is basically stock and building that the way u want it.

Unless I were building like a Walsh Hybrid or something, I'd just go out and buy a cheap one on Craigslist or something.
