i have race raptors on dirt grass and pavment long run and im sorry but my yfz 450 stock roasted all of them.660 and 700's... they have a little bit more top end but all the way throught the gears? bye bye raptor..

I have heard lots of YFZ guys say the same thing and I hear Raptor guys saying the opposite. I had some fast YFZ's but none were as fast as my 700. The Raptor can be deadly fast with a few cheap mods.

I would think by now that every would get that its a riders race. They're both pretty equal in terms of speed.

aint no rich boy so whatever and ur right it is a riders race and i havent been beat by no 700 raptors and ive race tons..lakeland florida is where i ride,..and the screen name basiccly means i love the yfz450..plenty power and well ballanced..not top heavy

The YFZ is a great machine, but dont put the Raptor down. If your YFZ is stock you probably have about 42hp and it is really easy to get 70-80hp out of a 700 Raptor without splitting the case. You really shouldnt be so cocky about it, you just havent had the right 700 jump on you. If you dont have the money to loose on a bet, then you really shouldnt bet against the 700.

I like both bikes, but the 700 Raptor is a very impressive machine.

I may be moving to Mobile next year. If so Ill make a trip with my new 700 before I turn a wrench on it and we'll go ride if you would like. I like to meet new buddies to ride with.
