Hey Guys,
I normally race around dunes, and have recently gotten onto the local mx track, here is a video of me doing 2 loops round the track.

Basically I can see loads of room for improvement, so check out the video and give me your suggestions on jumping, cornering, and whatever..

Its a yfz450r, rossier exhaust, 04-05 cams, stock gearing, flex bars, everything else is stock... This video is off me on the inner track, there is another track which is a high speed flat track with all these mad corners, I found the cornering one much harder Id loose control of the quad and it would spin round, Ill post that video in a couple of days for your critque.

If you want a critique next time don't load a song on top of the video, I would like to hear what the bike sounds like going through the turns. My advice is keep practicing and get off the bike in the turns. Practice getting in and out of the turns as fast as you can. Brake hard, don't roll the turns. Either brakes or gas no rolling and just have fun. Most races are won by the guy fastest in the turns and straights, not who jumps the biggest or does the coolest trick. Get used to jumping and get comfortable on the bike. Dont be afraid to move around on the bike to make it go where you want. But most of all practice, practice, practice. Looks good.

Thanks Man, Speaking of braking around the corners, can you explain to me how you use the combination of front and back brakes when cornering?

In my own personal experience I use the fronts going into a turn, and hardly touch the back brakes. Its just the way I do, from my experience when you use the rears they can lock up sending your back end sliding out. You seem to have more control when using the fronts and then you don't have to stretch to reach the rear pedal.

or you could try using both front and rear brakes at the same time. You'll find out you carry way more speed up to the corner and you will slow down hella fast. I have been trying to do that. And it takes some getting used to.

Isnt there a risk of highsiding when using the back brakes...
