i ordered a set of pro taper evo handlebars with a cr high bend. i got them in today and went ahead and threw em on but as i was puttin everything back on, i got to the break lever and throttle and theres not enough room before the bend. i put the throttle on and put the brake lever on as close as i could but the lever itself is sticking up about 30 degrees out of sqaure from the bar. i called rocky mountain about it and they basically told me(after ide got em in) that the evo bars arent for atvs and that i need to send them back for the contour bars with an atv bend and since i had already glued my grips on, they wont give me a full refund. has anyone else ever had this problem and found a solution or should i just send em back and get the contours with an atv bend?

those bars (like ALL dirt bike bends) wont fit on an ATV because ATV's require a longer bar to fill all of there controls comfortably.

what you should do is send them back and get the Contour in an ATV bend.

Get some solvent cleaner or goof off or something first to melt the glue off.

gas works to, I found that out by accident. It melts right through some grips.

It can be made to fit, but it takes a little imagination, a file and a hacksaw. icon_cool.gif
