I just got some protaper handgaurds and was wondering if you guys could post up some pics of how you mounted your handgaurds on your bars or any tips you got for making room for them

AH! You did mount them under the levers! They just didn't 'seem' to fit right when I tried that. ...however, now I can't remember why not. maybe they didn't fit right when I put the bar wraps on them. You don't have any problems with them being too low? Thank you for the pics!

you actually want them low if you think about it cause roost comes from the ground not the ski, it comes from the ski if your 30 feet behind but low is were its at.

Sorry for bring up such a old post lol, Just wondering if anyone else can post pictures of mounting handguards on both sides of stock yfz450 protaper bars, It looks like such a easy install until you see how packed together the bars are!

Sorry for bring up such a old post lol, Just wondering if anyone else can post pictures of mounting handguards on both sides of stock yfz450 protaper bars, It looks like such a easy install until you see how packed together the bars are! btw! first post! not stock protapers, but should be the same... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() to get them to fit EXACTLY where i wanted, i did some very light grinding on certain parts, the throttle housing, was cut a little bit for the mount bracket to kinda slide under it, it would have been fine without doing any of that, but im anal as hell about getting things symmetrical and making the bike look as good as i can. |

well he probably rides trails so not always low, just in the middle so ur hands are protected
