So I'm debating on which, if any, shocks to get. I mostly ride dunes. I don't know if it would be worth it to by the Fox float R or the Elka no reservoir over stock.

Do you think I should just have my stock re valved and set up for me?

Any opinions would be great. Here's links
Elka Shock
Fox Float R

Oh and who does good work on stock shocks. This a a YFZ btw. thanks again

If you are not doing any kind of racing, I would suggest saving your money and just have your stock shocks re-built by TCS, Works, or another reputable company. They can work wonders on your stockers.
Don't get me wrong, having the Fox Floats would make a world of difference for your ride, but you don't need to spend all that money to get a good ride.

I would go with the Fox Float R out of your two choices. I think it's hard enough to dial in a elka with all the adjustment. I would feel really unconformable letting Elka pre-set all the adjustments.

Well Works wants 610 to revalve and spring. That's why I was thinking the Float R's, but are my stockers better than those low class Fox and Elkas?

I'm really not saving money by redoing the stock shocks. That's why I started looking. I'm just not sure if those will be better, worse, same, etc.

oh, i see.

I'd do a bit more research on re-valving companies. You'd be surprised what they can do with them stockers. And you have an '08 right? Making them even better.

In a lot of cases revalves aren't the best solution to the problem. Yes some people like revalve shocks but more then half of our customers tried re-valved shocks before buying aftermarket shocks and regret doing the revalves.

Might as well do it right the first time around.

I would suggest buying used Aftermarkets...like Fox, axis, ohlins, or exits on Ebay, then have them re-valved and refreshed for you.

I got my stockers rebuilt by TCS. Night and day difference in the dunes, but buying used aftermarket shocks could be the way to go too.
