i understand you added the model of bike they are for, i was meaning that the 18p, 46d, 5d3, this is the model number, the rest of the numbers are the same

but the rest of the number just means it's an axle. It doesn't mean they are the same.

You will also have to buy the "X" hubs to be the same width as the YFZ450X.

To save a little coin, just buy a set of used YFZ hubs and try them. If you still need to be narrower, then buy the X axle.

If you wait a little while, I'm sure there will be "take-off" X axles for sale, as racers start getting these and put aftermarket axles in them.

ah ok, so the old YFZ and the YFZx use the same hubs.. so the R has different hubs correct?
